With an English degree from St. Anselm College, I've found ways to indulge my penchant for writing here, there and everywhere: my hometown in Maine (newspaper reporter); a cool, old office building in Denver (editor and re-writer for those with business degrees); the foothills of Colorado (media relations assistant for a brewery); at home with a baby in my arms (blogger). I've created a newsletter for a bookstore; rewritten a software manual; crafted a marketing piece for a roofing asset management company; and designed promotional materials for a portrait photographer. Said photographer and I also worked together on church histories/member directories. When I was staff writer and entertainment editor of Denver's archdiocesan newspaper, I wrote articles under deadline and proofread the weekly publication before it went to press. In recent years, my creative endeavors have come to include photography, drawing, painting, website creation, and jewelry design.
I live in Maine with my husband and six children.
