Cheryl Doyle-Ruffing

With an English degree from St. Anselm College, Cheryl has successfully indulged her penchant for writing wherever she happens to be, whether reporting for a small town newspaper in Maine; rewriting business plans for a government contractor in Denver; or assisting in the media relations department of a Colorado-based brewery. While "officially" employed in other capacities, Cheryl created a newsletter for a bookstore; rewrote a software manual; and crafted a marketing piece for a roofing asset management company. As staff writer and entertainment editor of Denver's archdiocesan newspaper, she wrote articles under deadline and proofread the weekly publication before it went to press. After the birth of her first child, Cheryl found time to create promotional materials for a portrait photographer, and worked with him on the writing and design of church histories/member directories. Her creative endeavors have since branched out into photography, drawing, and painting.Cheryl lives in Maine with her husband and children.
